Supply Chains: VillageReach improves supply chains, transport routes and cold chain storage, so medicines and vaccines arrive at health facilities. We are working with Last Mile Health in Liberia to improve supply chains for Community Health Workers.

Drones for Health Deliver solution: Aims to increase equitable access to health products and diagnostics for 700,000 people in hard-to-reach areas in Malawi and Mozambique via drone technology.

Health Center by Phone: In partnership with the Malawi government designed a free, 24-hour hotline that provides health information to callers nationwide.

The Innovation

We believe that transformative change is needed to continue to improve access to quality health care for everyone. Our strategy focuses on solutions that get health products to people and extend the reach of primary health care systems. This ensures that the needs of the most under-reached people drive how products and services are delivered.

Our solutions fall into two categories:

1. Products to People: VillageReach has a supply chain portfolio that ensures supply of lifesaving vaccines and medical products are demand-driven, accessible and responsive to community needs. The design of high-impact last mile supply chains guarantees the delivery of products to primary health care facilities and community health workers across five countries.

2. Pathways to PHC: VillageReach uses technology and innovation to create new pathways to quality primary health care for the most under-reached. We have developed solutions, such as health centre by phone, that extend health care delivery from the health center to the palm of a hand.

Our approach centres on a collaborative model of scaling and sustaining high impact solutions, resulting in a reach far beyond what we could achieve alone.
